Synaptix Hack Days – Build Anything w/ Gemini is an in-person hackathon where innovators come together to explore the power of generative AI using Google Gemini.

Participants will spend the day building creative, useful, and impactful projects — from AI assistants and chatbots to productivity tools, education platforms, social good solutions, and more. The hackathon is beginner-friendly and open to anyone curious about applying AI to real-world problems.

Whether you’re a first-time hacker or an experienced builder, Synaptix Hack Days is all about learning by building, collaborating on-site, and pushing ideas from concept to prototype within a focused time window.

Requirements

To submit a project on Devpost, participants must:

  • Build a project during the official hackathon window

  • Use Google Gemini / Gemini API in a meaningful way

  • Submit the project on Devpost before the submission deadline

Each submission must include:

  • Project name and description

  • Explanation of how Gemini was used

  • Demo video (2–3 minutes recommended)

  • GitHub repository or live demo link (if applicable)

Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered for judging.

  • Use of Google Gemini
    How effectively and creatively the project uses Google Gemini or the Gemini API. The use of Gemini should be meaningful and clearly explained.
  • Innovation & Idea
    How original and creative the idea is. Judges will look for fresh approaches and thoughtful problem-solving.
  • Impact & Usefulness
    How useful or impactful the project could be in real-world scenarios, including social good, productivity, education, or daily life.
